Project Gotham Racing 2 is a tightly wound, mode-structured arcade racer that asks players to master rhythm, timing and spatial awareness — not just acceleration. Its Kudos system creates a distinct performance grammar. Its fidelity is tangible: in polygon count, microphone count, and circuit variety. But it offers no narrative, no online play, and no cross-mode progression. It is a studio-built showcase — not a player-built world.
