What the game is
A maze-based puzzle game released in 1984 by First Star Software for Atari 8-bit computers. It is built around grid-based cave levels where Rockford collects diamonds while managing falling boulders and transforming creatures.
How it actually plays
Rockford moves on a rectangular grid of blocks inside cave levels. He tunnels through dirt with directional input. Boulders stay fixed until unsupported, then fall vertically. Butterflies turn into diamonds when hit by falling boulders. Each cave requires collecting a set number of diamonds before time runs out. Falling rocks, amoebas, butterflies, and fireflies must be avoided.
What works
