How it actually plays
The player digs holes in brick floors to trap guards, then walks over them before the holes auto-fill. Guards drop gold when they fall. Each guard carries only one bar. The player must collect all gold, then reach the top of the screen to advance. Levels are multi-story with ladders and suspended bars. Contact with a guard kills the player. Falling into a filling hole kills the player. The player starts with five lives.
What works
The digging-and-trap loop is clean and consequential. Every action has immediate, visible cause and effect: dig → trap → retrieve gold → advance. The level editor shipped with the game, enabling player authorship from day one.
