Players move units turn-by-turn on grid-based maps. Each turn has movement, attack, and production phases. Victory requires eliminating all enemy units or capturing the enemy headquarters. Some missions add objectives like capturing a Black Cannon. Campaign progression is non-linear: players choose from unlocked missions per continent, with new ones appearing after meeting requirements. The Super CO Power system introduces two-tiered activation with differing resource costs. Players earn ranks per mission and an overall rank after campaign completion, which unlocks content in the Battle Maps shop.
